Tips on buying a domain name.

So now Iv’e done a post about the really bad domains, how do you go about choosing a domain?

The choice of domain names really depends of your business.. The ideal domain name would be one that contains a keyword that people would be searching for.. so, for example, if I’m selling Whippets, a good domain name would be “whippets.com”.

It would also be a good idea to secure the .co.uk, .net and .org versions of the domain for use in the future as well.. it will cost you a lot more to buy it once you have a successful site set up.
