Most expensive domains ever
Insure.com: Like everything else in the finance industry (have you seen the ppc prices?), Insure.com sold for a whopping 16 million dollars. I hope QuinStreet does well with it.
Sex.com: This one is a little predicteable. The domain sold for 14 million dollars and is expected to be use (you guessed it) for a pornographic site.
Fund.com: sold for a suprising 10 million dollars. It seems a very large price for a relivily incuous domain name.
Porn.com: This one sold for just 9 million dollars. Mere pocket money for the guys (girls?) over at sex.com.
Business.com: 7.5 million dollars was paid for this domain a few years back. It seems that is jsut a simple business directory now. I hope it was worth it.
