Free .uk Domains
The UK based domain registrar and hosting company LCN.com are giving away a free .uk domain name with any 2 year registration of a non .uk domain name. The giveaway is part of the company’s 10 year anniversary celebrations and will run to next Tuesday (19th Jan 2010).
The company has said that cyber squatting is fast becoming an issue for website owners when people register a slight variation of the web address you operate in. With this offer they are running it allows you to register a.uk version of the same domain (or a different one if you really want) for free. Further to this, if they give away 1000 domains for 2 years, in two years time maybe 50% of these domains will be renewed! clever
