DELL Domain Dispute
DELL is a large multinational corporation that specialises in computer technology. Recently they submitted a complaint to the arbitration forum to have the following domains handed over to them:
• dellgaming.com
• dellvideogames.com
• dellvideogaming.com
• dellconsole.com
It seems the domain names were registered in bad faith by the respondent and DELL claims it’s confusingly similar to its trademark. The forum ordered that the domains are to be transferred to DELL immediately. The person who originally registered the domains did not submit a response to the proceeding which allowed DELL to demonstrate all requirements to the panel.
